Tuesday, January 29, 2019

Hireworks purchased a JCB 531-70 Agri telehandler through their local dealer Forklift Solutions. According to Allan Gillet, Managing Director of Hireworks, the new telehandler was purchased as part of a growing fleet of JCB telescopic handlers.

“We have been buying JCB telehandlers for the past 7 years,” says Allan. “We keep buying them because they are reliable.”

“We have had no complaints from our customers about them,” says Allan. “We find the telehandlers quick and easy to prepare for each new hire.”

The 531-70 Telehandler

The JCB 531-70 agri telehandlers are the smallest of our full-sized telescopic handlers. Designed to meet agricultural demands, these telehandlers offer unparalleled productivity (courtesy of regenerative hydraulics), excellent performance, versatility and efficiency.

WORLD’S NO. 1 TELEHANDLER

JCB telescopic handlers are now one of the world’s favourite agricultural vehicles, and no wonder; these machines pack remarkable versatility, agility and performance into a compact, efficient package. Forward and vertical reach are simply unsurpassed by anything else on the farm yard, meaning that you can place more materials in less time.

LOW COST OF OWNERSHIP

JCB Loadalls enjoy huge global demand due to legendary productivity and build quality levels – resale values have always been strong.

PRODUCTIVITY

The 531-70 telehandler productivity has improved by up to 19%*. A compact wheel base and large steering lock angles makes this Loadall extremely manoeuvrable which saves you time on the farm. 4WD is standard so that traction is assured at all times and 2WD is available at the flick of a switch which minimises tyre wear and fuel use when roading. Crab steer can quickly manoeuvrer you closer to walls and farm buildings. Regenerative hydraulics ensure very fast cycle times and the auto smooth ride system engages at speeds over 4km/h giving you improved load retentions, comfort and greater productivity. Attachment changes are quick and easy with JCB’s quickhitch system and JCB’s auto bucket control technology makes it easier to meter out or fully empty material from your bucket or much fork via a button on the joystick.

EFFICIENCY

JCB EcoMAX engines are fitted with a variable speed cooling fan that automatically reacts to ambient temperatures, adjusting fan speed to maximise fuel efficiency and reduce in cab noise levels. You can expect 34%* fuel savings when load placing, 15%* efficiency savings on rehandling and 18%* fuel savings over the tier 3 models.  JCB’s new hydraulic regeneration system uses a unique pilot-operated counterbalance valve to harness gravitational force, making lowering and retracting the boom more efficient than ever. This system reduces cycle times by up to 20% and fuel consumption by up to 4.4%.

STRENGTH AND DURABILITY

JCB’s two-stage boom is designed for great lifting and reaching as well as durability and versatility. The large boom is U-shaped and overlaps for over 1.0m with fully welded closing plates to ensure strength and longevity of the boom. Hydraulic hoses are intelligently routed through the boom for maximum protection. The centrally mounted lift, tilt and extension rams eliminate twisting and are held in place by centrally-mounted keyhole castings for even greater structural integrity. Bonnets are protected from damage by being side-mounted and recessed.

OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

JCB telehandlers are easy to use with excellent visibility thanks to a low profile engine bonnet and improved upward air expulsion.  To keep operators comfortable external noise levels have been reduced and air conditioning is fitted as standard to keep users focused.

SAFETY

The low boom profile and low boom pivot make for superb rear and all round visibility. Reversing alarms come as standard on all JCB telehandlers with a lift height of 7 metres or more. These telehandlers come equipped with fold-up rear lights that can be kept clear and well protected from typical farm damage. Experience excellent cab access with three points of contact and ergonomically positioned grabs, handles and foot step.

SERVICEABILITY

All daily checks and greasing can be carried out at ground level for quick and easy servicing. Every fluid filter (engine oil, hydraulic oil and fuel) is centrally located for fast, easy servicing. The air filter is easily accessed too, and its double-element design simplifies cleaning. The diesel tank is accessible from the ground level. You can open the lockable cover for the battery with the ignition key. A dry lubricant system means our wear pads are extremely durable, with service intervals of 500 hours. Because this Loadall’s EcoMAX engine doesn’t use exhaust after-treatment, it doesn’t need costly heat resistant lube oils or Adblue, saving servicing costs.

SECURITY

LiveLink telematics give remote access to real-time location, critical alerts, geofencing, proactive service capability from dealer, protecting your investment and maximising productivity.
