PRODUCTIVE JCB WHEEL LOADER TAILORED FOR AUSTRALIAN CONDITIONS
JCBCEA has launched the 422ZX Wheel Loader, specifically developed for the Australian market to deliver high levels of productivity while keeping fuel consumption and running costs to a minimum.
According to Deon Cope, JCBCEA’s National Product Manager for Wheel Loaders, the 422ZX delivers productivity as well as serviceability and comfort for operators.
“We know that managing fuel costs is essential, so we’ve worked hard to create a wheel loader that helps keep fuel costs down without compromising on productivity,” Deon says.
“During a typical duty cycle, the 422ZX is up to 26 per cent more fuel efficient than other wheel loader brands in the market.”
The 422ZX features a 500-hour service interval and a gullwing bonnet side panel design that makes for easy ground level access to service check points.
Operator comfort is also top of mind with the 422ZX, having a modern spacious cab that meets ROPS and FOPS standards and features an in-cab heater and air conditioning.
“The 422ZX uses proven technology and components for ease of maintenance and maximum uptime, including a JCB Dieselmax engine, delivering a powerful 525Nm of torque for excellent digging and loading capabilities.
“An emergency steer system is also fitted allowing for machine recovery should you lose power, giving operators the ability to steer the machine into a safe area if a malfunction should occur, not impacting the rest of the worksite flow,” Deon says.
For harsh and dusty working environments like demolition sites, the machine can be supplied with additional belly guards to protect the underside of the loader and a reversible cooling fan to prevent dust build-up in the cooling pack.
With an operating weight of 11,900kg, the JCB 422ZX is the ideal wheeled loader for a range of applications in construction, quarrying, demolition and waste handling.
