GOLD STAR FOR JCB AS MACHINES TAKE A BOW IN CULT FILM

A fleet of more than 20 JCB machines including 15 skidsteers, 3 excavators and 4 telehandlers are featured in the new Alien Covenant movie recently released. JCB CEA sourced the machines from around Australia to meet the movie makers needs.
JCB Worldwide Marketing Director Michael Plummer said: “This is the biggest product placement exercise in JCB’s history and involved more than £1 million (1.7 million AUD) worth of machines. Ridley Scott’s idea to wrap the machines in gold delivered a stunning result and is certainly an eye-catching addition to a film which will be seen by millions of people around the world.”
JCB CEA received extraodinary requests from the films producers like removing engines and transmissions to make them easier to manoveour on the film set. Ensuring zero contamination from fluids on the film set was critical. Awesome job by JCBCEA Sydney workshop team.
Raygal Pty Ltd was contracted as a specialised transport company by JCB CEA to manage all machine movements in an out of Fox Studio’s in Sydney. Adhereing to specific delivery and pick up times was critical to coordinating float movements at busy Fox precinct.
